NSA’s Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is the pre-eminent nutrition science conference in Australia. The location of the meeting rotates around Australia and New Zealand with every third meeting being a joint meeting of the Nutrition Society of Australia and the Nutrition Society of New Zealand. The 46th NSA Annual Scientific Meeting was held in Perth, 29 Nov - 2 Dec. The theme was Sustainable nutrition for a healthy life.

The Asia Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrition is a biennial conference held within the Asia-Pacific region. The 41st NSA Annual Scientific Meeting and 10th Asia Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrition was a joint meeting of the Asia Pacific Society of Clinical Nutrition, the Nutrition Society of Australia and the Nutrition Society of New Zealand. The meeting was held in Adelaide, SA from 26 - 29 November 2017.

The theme of the meeting was Nutrition solutions for a changing world.
