Benefits of Membership

Members of the NSA have access to the scientific proceedings of our Annual Scientific meeting and may attend local meetings of the regional group to which they belong.
NSA is a member of the International Union of Nutritional Societies (IUNS), membership of which provides temporary membership of nutrition Societies around the globe when our members visit those.
Membership also puts nutrition scientists with common interests in touch with each other through local and regional meetings.

Tertiary student members are particularly welcome and the Society provides subsidised membership and conference attendance to promote growth in the science of nutrition.

Membership Year

The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year.

Membership fees for 2010/2011 are $163 per annum for ordinary members and $65 per annum for students and retired members. Both fees are inclusive of GST. Fees are increased each year in line wih the CPI.

New Members

Membership applications are submitted to Council for approval on a monthly basis. Complete the Membership Application Form and mail it to the Secretariat with payment for the first membership year.

Existing members can renew online using the link below or can download the Membership Renewal Form and mail or fax it to the Secretariat with payment.
