CSIRO Preventative Health Flagship (Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne) - Research Scientist - Nutritional Epidemiology – deadline March 14

The Position: We require a mid-career research scientist with experience in the field of nutritional epidemiology to provide critical expertise to our health and sensory science capability, and to complement the clinical and translational science activities in CSIRO's Preventative Health Flagship. In this role you will be required to:
• Provide scientific and professional leadership in nutritional epidemiology;
• Demonstrate a commitment to research excellence;
• And provide nutritional epidemiology expertise and skills to projects, guiding and enhancing their application to public health outcomes.
Location: Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne
Tenure: Permanent, full-time
Salary Range: $83K - $112K plus up to 15.4% Superannuation

Editor wanted for Salt Skip News

Salt Skip News, published 6 times a year, is a newsletter for people interested in reducing their salt intake to manage their blood pressure. It goes to members of the Qld hypertension association, and is available to a much wider audience at the Salt Matters site

where past copies can also be viewed.

 

The Editor compiles 4 pages of copy (approximately 1000 words) for each issue, comprising articles aimed at a predominantly lay readership. There is an editorial committee who advise on the content prior to sending out the newsletter. (The committee is Assoc Prof Michael Stowasser and Sister Dianne Robson (both Qld), Prof Caryl Nowson and Dr Malcolm Riley (both Vic), Clare Rawcliffe (NSW), Jane Brown and Dr Trevor Beard (both Tas).
