Editor wanted for Salt Skip News
Please direct enquiries - and expressions of interest in taking on this role - to Dr Jennifer Keogh (the current editor) at jennifer.keogh@internode.on.net Salt Skip News, published 6 times a year, is a newsletter for people interested in reducing their salt intake to manage their blood pressure. It goes to members of the Qld hypertension association, and is available to a much wider audience at the Salt Matters site
The Editor compiles 4 pages of copy (approximately 1000 words) for each issue, comprising articles aimed at a predominantly lay readership. There is an editorial committee who advise on the content prior to sending out the newsletter. (The committee is Assoc Prof Michael Stowasser and Sister Dianne Robson (both Qld), Prof Caryl Nowson and Dr Malcolm Riley (both Vic), Clare Rawcliffe (NSW), Jane Brown and Dr Trevor Beard (both Tas).
