Websites that can be useful
Nutrition research is published in scientific/medical journals. To explore these, Pubmed is a useful index of research articles, though a summary is never a substitute for the full document.
On these pages, the NSA simply draws attention to useful websites that conveniently summarise current expert understanding of some food and nutriton topics, with an emphasis on Australian conditions. They are loosely grouped under broad headings (Food, Diet, Nutrition, Health, Specific populations, and Specific animals. There is also a page that shows sources of current nutrition news (though bear in mind that yesterday’s media item rarely over-turns the conclusions of decades of careful research.)
It is not a comprehensive list, and the NSA does not accept responsibility for the content of these sites.
