NSA | Conferences

We invite you to attend the following fortnightly seminars, jointly organised by the Tasmanian branches of Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA). They aim to cover most areas of nutrition - human, animal, laboratory, clinical, community.

Tasmanian meetings are videolinked to six locations around Tasmania, in Hobart, Launceston, Latrobe, Burnie and Scottsdale. For exact locations, with directions, click HERE

Nutrition, bones, baby boomers, climate change and food

11.00 am – 3.00 pm, 50 & Better Centre, 108 Bathurst Street, Hobart.

The program for this must-attend event has been expanded, and now features four speakers:
* Professor Caryl Nowson (Deakin University) on Nutrition challenges in the 21st century
* Shone Prior (Tasmanian Climate Change Office), on Implications of climate change for food production in Tasmania.
* Dr Jennifer Keogh on Sodium and bone health

* Professor Peter Clifton on Protein and bone health

The Tas NSA AGM will also take place at this gathering.

The day of the seminars will vary between Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - this (hopefully) provides wider opportunities for people to attend, even if a particular day of the week is routinely difficult for them.
